The Obamas, Gayle King, Queen Latifah, and More Spotted at the 2023 US Open
Stars across the industry are coming out for the 2023 US Open.
The annual event kicked off on Monday, August 28, with a headline-making performance by rising tennis star Coco Gauff. Numerous prominent figures were in attendance at the tennis championship. Sightings at Arthur Ashe Stadium included former president Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama, Gayle King, Danny Devito, and more.
Day two saw rapper and actress Queen Latifah, who looked dazzling in a bright orange skirt and a T-shirt that featured Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock. Academy Award winner Ariana Debose was also in attendance, looking sharp with light blue jeans and a navy blazer.
J Balvin, who attended the second night with his reported partner Valentina Ferrer, took a moment to chat with fans and even snapped a photo with a puppy.
Other celebrities at the Open included actress Rosie Perez, singer Seal, Olympic star Shaun White, boxing champion Mike Tyson and his wife Lakiha Spicer, fashion designer Vera Wang, and Vogue magazine editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Even New York City Mayor Eric Adams came out and said a few words during the opening ceremony.
