Angel Reese Makes History With Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Debut

The Chicago Sky star hit the runway in pink lace and angel wings, joining a lineup of new Black Angels and standout performances.

Angel Reese stepped onto the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway and owned it like the star she is. The Chicago Sky forward made her 2025 debut in New York at the lingerie brand’s triumphant return after a six-year break. She moved through the lights and cameras with the same energy she brings to the court but dialed up for fashion, gliding with confidence, presence, and unmistakable poise.

The Bayou Barbie hit the runway in two bold pink looks that immediately turned heads. Her first set had a soft, playful energy with a floral three-piece lingerie set paired with a fluffy boa that swayed with each step. Her second look leaned into fantasy with a delicate pink lace lingerie set layered under a ripped pink T-shirt. She finished it with sparkly silver heels and massive white angel wings that shone under the runway lights. Clips of her walk spread across social media quickly, with fans celebrating how she effortlessly ate her walk up.

This moment was bigger than style for Reese, as she had faced criticism about her confidence, body, and femininity; the runway gave her a space to celebrate that energy and presence. She brought personality, attitude, and poise that proved she belongs in every conversation, whether it’s basketball, fashion, or cultural moments.

Reese shared her excitement on Instagram last week, letting fans know she was officially part of the Victoria’s Secret family. “Stepping into a dream: Angel to a Victoria’s Secret ANGEL. I’m finally getting my wings. Wings on, heels ready… Catch me on the runway,” she wrote. The post captured the joy, anticipation, and pride behind this milestone, and the moment lived up to every expectation.

This year’s show also featured new Black Angels, including Quenlin Blackwell, Precious Lee, and Jasmine Tookes, who walked the runway pregnant. Apart from the fashion, there was music, with performances by Missy Elliott, Karol G, Madison Beer, and K-pop group Twice. The front row was packed with star power, with everyone from Sarah Jessica Parker to Jodie Turner-Smith in attendance.
