The Internet Is Kicking Down Nicki Minaj's Door After Safaree Proposed To Erica Mena

"All Nicki Minaj exes out here living [their] best life..."

Back in 2015, Safaree and Erica Mena met, just as his lengthy relationship with Nicki Minaj ended and Mena’s engagement to Bow Wow was called off. The notorious reality stars became friends and starred on VH1's Scared Famous together in 2017. Mena, who was most recently cast on Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, was arrested with her then-boyfriend Clifford Dixon in October, but it didn’t take longs for them to call it quits.

Post-Thanksgiving, the Jamaican sex symbol gushed about being “madly in love,” fans immediately presumed the woman who stole his heart was the Bronx vixen after the pair was spotted at a Brooklyn Nets game. The lovebirds went public earlier this month and flooded social media, completely smitten with one another.

A few days ago, Mena gushed about being invited to a Christmas Eve date night, but little did she know it was much more than dinner for two.

  • Last night (Dec. 24), Safaree asked for Erica’s hand in marriage with fireworks and 112 singing in the background.

Flaunting her 14-carat rock, Erica penned in a heartfelt caption, "I’m absolutely the luckiest woman in the world. A Man who has never been afraid to love me. A MAN who has been here and knows everything I been through. Everything before this- It no longer matters."

  • The mother and model also confirmed that their wedding date is already set.

Safaree also admits that he's been planning this since her birthday (Nov. 8).

  • However, fans couldn't help but to drag Nicki Minaj's name into the mix

Just a few days prior, the Queens-bred femcee's new boyfriend made their love permanent by inking her name into his neck. Yet, the internet is in shambles jumping to theories about how the Head Barb feels about her ex-beau's engagement, while also tossing copious amounts of shade towards Safaree and Erica.
