L.A. Jeweler Claims 50 Cent's Crew Robbed Him at Gun Point

Investigation launched for a quarter of a million dollars in jewels.

Thanks to his entourage, 50 Cent is in the middle of a criminal investigation in L.A. after a jeweler claims that the rapper's men put a gun to his head and stole a quarter of a million dollars worth of jewelry.

Robert Marin, owner of LAX Jewelry Co., told TMZ that he went to Las Vegas for Fight Night weekend to sell the "21 Questions" emcee a watch and chain worth $250,000. While there, he said, he met with 50 at Drai's nightclub, and after Fif saw the pieces, he was all in, but they needed to negotiate a final price.

Marin continued, saying that after they stayed at the club until early Saturday morning, 50's crew invited him to see Flyod Mayweather's gym. He claims that once he arrived, two of the rapper's crew members pistol whipped him, stole the expensive pieces and fled the scene. He filed a robbery report and the Las Vegas police are currently investigating.

TMZ received a comment from the rapper's attorney, Scott Leemon, who said it never happened. "On behalf of 50, I can adamantly deny that he or his security had anything to do with these baseless and false allegations."
