New Yorkers will get to participate in another great day in hip-hop history this Sunday, August 21st. As part of the annual SummerStage programming in Central Park, DJ Funkmaster Flex will host “Salute to Hip-Hop,” starring legends Rakim and EPMD. The free show will mark the 25th anniversary of the release of Eric B. and Rakim’s classic Paid in Full. The show starts at 3:00 p.m.; get there early for a good spot—this show is sure to be standing room only.
