Earlier this year, Towns announced that he tested positive for COVID-19, which resulted in his 13 missed games. Towns’ lost a total of eight family members, including his mother to the deadly virus.

Towns took to his own Instagram page to post him video chatting with Woods and her family, sister Jodie and mom, Elizabeth.

“P.S. Covid Sucks,” he added in the caption.

Jordyn responded to the post with, “My Santa, may be apart for two years in a row because of this virus!! But not again next year,” with Elizabeth Woods saying, “We love you! Christmas just not the same without you here bugging me lol.”
