Taraji P. Henson Reveals Hilarious Hack for Filming Intimate Scenes with Terrence Howard

In a resurfaced interview, Henson shares how she kept things professional on the set of "Empire" by using a unique trick to prevent Terrence Howard from getting aroused during their steamy scenes.

Taraji P. Henson has the ultimate hack when filming sex scenes, especially if her co-star is struggling during the take.

A throwback interview on "The Angie Martinez Show" in 2015 with the star of "The Color Purple" has resurfaced, where she discussed what it was really like to film intimate scenes with Terrence Howard on the set of "Empire" as he faced some hard challenges, as reported by FandomWire. She and Howard portrayed a married power couple on the show for six seasons.

"You have to keep the boys professional because they get aroused," said Henson, who portrayed Cookie Lyons on the series.

Luckily, that never happened to Howard.

"Every time we laid there he kept talking to his little male member. ‘Don’t do that!...No don’t do it, Taraji is going to punch me"' she recounted Howard –who portrayed Lucious Lyon on the show– saying.

"You know I will sock you right in the throat," she'd respond to him.

To further thwart his arousal, Henson resorted to a tactic that aided in Howard lowering the bar, adding that he thought it was simply "twisted."

Henson revealed she would talk in a baby voice, which was a turn-off for Howard.

"Daddy, why are you on top of me? Why is the door closed," she remembers saying while using the babyish voice.

"It worked!" Henson said. "We got through the scene real quick."
