Tyler The Creator Shares New Photos Of His Louis Vuitton Capsule Collection

The line is slated to drop on March 21.

Tyler The Creator is getting ready to rock the fashion world.

We know that Tyler likes to put it on. Whether at an awards show or in a music video, this brotha is going to stunt on us all. And now, he is getting ready to stunt in a major way. On Wednesday (Feb. 21), the "EARFQUAKE" rapper took to Instagram to announce his new collection with Louis Vuitton. This deal is especially sweet because the men's creative director for the brand, Pharrell Williams brought him on board for the new line, which is expected to drop on March 21.

"thank you @pharrell i love you, you keep throwing me the keys," he said in the caption of a post on the app. "the @louisvuitton team thank yall for allowing these ideas come to life." He also thanked Darren Vongphakdy, Tara Razavi, and photographer Luis "Panch" Perez.

The message was accompanied by various images of the new collection that features a "hand drawn craggy monogram," from the rapper. He revealed, "chess board is my favorite thing ive made" and that he's been making clothes since he was 13.

In the first image, Tyler gives a first look at the collection while modeling some of the new pieces in front of a vintage plane on a runway. While holding a monogram duffle bag, he is seen wearing a bomber jacket, khaki trousers, and an aviator hat with goggles.

Another image displayed footwear from the line, including boots and two sets of platform loafers in pink and blue.

The Grammy winner shared another post with more images of the forthcoming collection, including "hand-drawn monograms, wavy soles, waffle and butter sandals, dogs, pastel colors all that."

"i wanted to mix my style and louis vuittons codes together in a way that felt slightly whimsical but could still be worn to the gas station on a tuesday," Tyler said while elaborating on the line.

For the “Sorry Not Sorry” hitmaker, this was the chance of a lifetime. "what an experience being in that office, imagination running wild. have you seen that chessboard?!!!! i had a real late night editing these photos, im happy to finally share this collection and lookbook with you guys. still cant believe it."
