Madonna Collaborates With Kanye West and Drake
Madonna keeps her relevant and interesting music streak going by working with the hottest and most groundbreaking acts in the game. This time around the pop icon is teaming up with Kanye West. She announced that she will be featured on the "All Day" MC's upcoming So Help Me God album.
“We worked together two albums ago,” Madonna told Complex. “Kanye worked on a track that Pharrell produced.”
And Yeezy returned the favor by working on new tracks for Madonna’s thirteenth studio album, Rebel Heart. But West’s hectic, in-demand schedule prevented him from doing more. “He forgot that he had to do 20 other projects, so he ended up only working on four songs,” adds Madonna.
The "material girl" also admits to loving the new Drake track, “Madonna,” that bears her name. “I’ve heard the whole mixtape and ‘Madonna’ is the best,” she adds. “I’m not the only one who thinks that. Even Drake thinks that.”
Based on that new musical lovefest, Madonna says that a musical collaboration between her and Drizzy is on the horizon.
“[Drake and I] are going to work together,” she says. “Yeah, baby, it’s in the pipeline.”
