Little Brother Announces Farewell Tour and Retirement
After two decades, Little Brother is officially bowing out—but not without giving fans a final performance.
Earlier this week, the North Carolina-based hip-hop duo—Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh—announced that they’re hitting the road for a farewell run titled the “Curtain Call Tour.”
The tour will span 12 dates across the U.S. from May through October. It will stop in major cities, including Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., before wrapping up in the duo’s hometown, at Raleigh’s Lincoln Theatre on October 24.
In a heartfelt sit-down with AllHipHop, both MCs made it clear that this goodbye comes from a place of peace, purpose, and brotherhood.
“I wanted to let people know, me and Phonte, we [sic] super good,” Pooh shared. “We had a chance to reconcile, come back and, I believe, put Little Brother to bed the proper way… it was still important to have that moment and allow our fans to have that moment, too.”
Tickets for the Curtain Call Tour go on sale Wednesday (April 9) via their official website. Check out the concert dates below.
