Playboi Carti To Headline New Year’s Eve Virtual Concert

The ATL rapper recently released his sophomore album ‘Whole Lotta Red’ on Christmas Day.

Playboi Carti will bring in the new year with a special celebration for his fans. 

The rapper, who just released his Whole Lotta Red album, is headed to the virtual stage at Cyberwurld, an online New Year’s Eve concert by Thunder Studios that is a blend of music, technology and gaming. Carti, the event headliner, will be joined by Sada Baby, $NOT, Jasiah, Popp Hunna, ilyTOMMY, Lil Eazzyy Bktherula, Sparoh, and Ken Car$on. 

Cyberwurld will be streamed on Twitch for free starting at 8 p.m. PT/ 12 a.m. ET on Dec. 31.

The ATL rapper’s performance will be his first since dropping Whole Lotta Red, his sophomore album on Friday (Dec. 25). The release includes Kid Cudi, Future, and Kanye West.

Following the album release, Carti headed to his Twitter asking fans what tracks they would be interested in seeing on the deluxe album — though it’s unclear when it will drop.
