21 Savage Details How a Fight Left Him With a Scarred Lip

The “American Dream” rapper shared the teenage memory of an altercation that left him scarred.

21 Savage recently shared how he got a scar on his face.

During an Instagram Live on Tuesday (May 14), the Atlanta rapper spoke about a gruesome incident that left a permanent reminder of a physical altercation he had when he was younger.

"When I was young, I had got into a fight, and I had gold teeth. N***a hit me in my shit right here," 21 said. "And my goddamn lip got caught on my teeth. I had a hole right here."

"That's why I got this scar. That n***a was way bigger than me. I was probably, like, 14,” he added.

Also during the Live, 21 said that the feud between him and overreacting has been put to rest. 21 and Soulja had been going at it on social media—that back-and-forth stems from a tweet from Metro Boomin dissing Soulja more than a decade ago.

“My phone rings to come to the studio with Jeezy. Yours rings to send Soulja Boy a pack of beats. Sit down,” Metro’s tweet read.

When the tweet resurfaced, Soulja Boy took shots at Metro and mentioned his deceased mother who was killed by her husband, who then committed suicide in 2022.

“F–k that n—a mama!!!!!!!!!! Don’t speak on my name b—h! You sacrificed your own mom @MetroBoomin you a puppet,” Soulja Boy's now-deleted tweet read.

On Wednesday (May 15),  Soulja offered an apology to Metro for his remarks on X (formerly Twitter).

“I apologize to @MetroBoomin for overreacting over an old tweet,” Soulja wrote. “Condolences to his mom. I’m going to seek therapy and anger management. I’m done responding to hate, new or old.”
