Rashida Nicole is setting the record straight about her marriage to LiAngelo Ball, and there is no sugarcoating this time around. The influencer welcomed their daughter to the world last week, and instead of enjoying the calm and happiness that comes with a new baby, she woke up to her estranged husband speaking on their relationship in a way that she wasn’t about to let slide. 

LiAngelo went on his "Ball in the Family" podcast and painted a picture of a marriage he supposedly didn’t want. He told Lonzo that Nicole had pushed the wedding forward and that he had never felt connected. He shared a moment that left many people confused. “She drove me [to the courthouse], ni**a. I’m out there about to cry in the whip,” he said. “I felt disconnected type sh*t. I’m telling her like, ‘I don’t want to get married, ni**a. I don’t want to do none of this shit.’ But then I was like, ‘I’m doing it though, n***a.’ And I did not understand.”

LiAngelo added even more to the story during the podcast. He opened up about his regrets involving Mudarris and said, “I told her that, though. Nikki called me. I told her straight up like, ‘I was tweaking.’ I ain’t got no excuse for that sh*t or nothing.”

He also said he regretted leaving his ex, Nikki Mudarris, the mother of his two older children.

Nicole saw all of that and went straight to Instagram Stories. She didn’t play around or soften a single word. She called him a “clown” and said, “None of it makes sense.” She followed that with, “He can never take accountability for nothing! No one forced a grown man to do anything! Just like I can’t force him to be a dad #deadbeat.”

She also said Ball still hasn’t shown up for their newborn. That reveal came after she posted multiple times about him missing her entire pregnancy. She recently apologized to Mudarris for past tensions and thanked her for handling the situation with grace, despite its complexity.
