Cyn Santana Confessed To Struggling With Depression, And Joe Budden’s Reaction Has Twitter Up In Arms

"Love & Hip Hop" fans are flipping out.

Love & Hip Hop: New York re-additions Joe Budden and Cyn Santana proved to be the talk of the internet following Monday night's episode of the series after the latter opened up to the former about her mental health struggles.

His reaction to her sensitive confession, however, was met with expressions of disgust from viewers.

The State of the Culture co-host is being called out for failing to be present for his partner when she needed him most, especially after they shared such a vulnerable moment together.

In the clip, Santana explained to him that she had been battling depression since giving birth to their son, Lexington, in 2017. She went on to point out to him that she felt neglected as he would work all day while she remained at home, taking care of their child, on her own.

She stressed to him that not only did she feel neglected, both sexually and emotionally, by him, but she believed that her battle with depression was become too much for her to handle.

"My mental health is off," she said. "Regardless whether I'm depressed or not, Joey, you are still being neglectful... I'm still not happy with you or how we are in our relationship."

Budden, sitting before her, responded by saying that while her mental wellness was a top priority, he was "perfectly fine with breaking up" in order for her to get better. He then, abruptly, told her he had "to go."

As Budden walked out the door, Santana was shown breaking down in tears as she picked up their son from his crib.
