Creflo Dollar Blasts Critics of $65 Million Jet Fundraiser

The megapastor claims he never "one time" asked for millions from his followers.

Mega pastor Creflo Dollar faced a wave of controversy last month when he announced his campaign to raise funds for a $65 million private jet.

Now, a video has emerged online showing Dollar firing back at critics — whom he refers to as the enemy — while speaking to his congregation at World Changers Church International in Georgia, The Grio reports.

“I can dream as long as I want to. I can believe God as long as I want to. If I want to believe God for a $65 million plane, you cannot stop me. You cannot stop me from dreaming. You can’t stop me from dreaming. I’m gon’ dream until Jesus comes […],” Dollar said in the online clip, which appears to have been recorded on Sunday.

“If you think a $65 million plane was too much, if they discover that there’s life on Mars, they gon’ need to hear the Gospel and I’m gon' have to believe God for a $1 billion space shuttle because we got to preach the Gospel on Mars. I dare you to tell me I can’t dream. I dare you to tell me I can’t believe God […]”

Dollar claimed that his campaign was geared more towards his donors and insisted that he never "one time" requested the $65 million from his followers. He also encouraged his followers to “dream about what the devil says you can’t have,” such as the “best house” and “best car.”

According to a report, Dollar is worth an estimated $27 million — 900 times more than the $29,640 average annual income in College Park, where he resides.
