At the red carpet premiere of her new movie, The Help’s Viola Davis announced that she and her husband, fellow actor Juluis Tennon, are in the process of adopting a child. The 45-year-old actress confirmed to an E! News reporter, “Yes, we’re about to adopt a baby.” A number of stars have either adopted or discussed adopting children from outside of the country.
However, Davis is trying something a little different by adopting in America. She wouldn’t offer any specifics about the child, but did say the couple would be adopting “domestically.” Viola and Julius have been married since 2003. Tennon has two children from a previous marriage, but this child will be the first for the married couple.
