Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have been making headlines for their whirlwind romance, and now they’re ready to embark on their biggest adventure yet: parenthood. The Grammy-winning rapper revealed the happy news on "CBS Mornings" with Gayle King, sharing their joy with fans around the world.

The 32-year-old said she feels "excited" and "happy" as she prepares to release new music and balances motherhood. 

"I feel like I'm in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I'm doing all this work. But I'm doing all this work while I'm creating a baby, and me and my man, we're very supportive of each other," she said. Cardi also said Diggs gives her stability.

"And he just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong," she said. "I mean, like, two weeks ago I was literally having a panic attack. I was, like, crying and crying and crying, just because I was just getting really nervous with you know, the whole album rollout ... People were coming at me very hard. You know, sometimes people love you, people hate you. And people was just saying very mean things about me." 

The announcement comes after months of speculation about the couple’s future together. Since hard-launching their relationship in May 2025 courtside at a New York Knicks game, Cardi and Diggs have been inseparable, often spotted on romantic getaways, red carpets, and courtside dates. From Diggs’ lavish birthday surprises—like renting a medieval castle in France—to Cardi’s viral TikTok showing off his extravagant gifts, the couple has become one of pop culture’s most talked-about pairings.

This child will join Cardi B’s three children: Kulture Kiari Cephus (born July 2018), Wave Set Cephus (born September 2021), and Blossom (born September 2024). Cardi shares all three children with her estranged husband, rapper Offset, whom she married in 2017. Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024, and the divorce proceedings remain ongoing.
