Five Moments From ‘Zatima’ to Get You Up to Speed

Catch up where we left off during the last season of ‘Zatima'!

Zatima returns to BET+ on August 24, and based on how last season ended, you already know we are in for a doozy. In case you need a refresher, here are five moments of note to give you a refresher.

Zatima Broke Up

Fatima said she was done with Zac for good after he admitted that he slept with Connie. Even before that, Zac was acting like a supreme jerk and, for some reason, took Fatima’s move to try to get him some therapy as an attack. He is not healed or mature enough to pursue a relationship with anyone. Yuck.

Paul Wants Fatima

Zac being out of the way for now, leaves the door open for Paul to pursue Fatima. He was already lowkey trying when Zac was in the picture, but it’s about to be on now that Fatima is free. It’s not a good idea to pursue someone freshly out of a breakup, but we know this show is about drama, so Paul will probably go full throttle in pursuit of Fatima. What do you think?

Single Angie
Angie is single and mingling for now, but she will probably find her way back to Bryce once she gets over her biphobia.

Zac’s Unresolved Issues

The main questions are, will Zac finally go to therapy? Will he finally get good advice from people who know what they’re talking about, not those two goofy friends he keeps hanging around? Will he finally stand up to his mother and brother? Because all of the above needs to happen before he can seriously even think about getting back with Fatima.

Deja is Still Deja

Deja always has some tricks up her sleeves to get Zac’s attention, and at one point last season, it seemed like she almost seduced him after luring him to her bathroom, where she was in the tub. Zac didn’t fall for it, but now that he’s single, will it be a different story? Does Deja still even need to play those games since Fatima won’t be around to beat her up? We will have to see.
