Ronald Sheridan Reveals Hospitalization, Surpasses $35K Goal
Ronald Sheridan, who played beloved patriarch characters on “That’s So Raven” and “Cousin Skeeter” received an outpouring of financial support for his current health issues.
On Tuesday, May 6, the 66-year-old posted an Instagram reel showing that he was hospitalized and explained his reasons for seeking medical help.
“On April 10th, I was on the road and got sick. They thought it was gastric. I got home on the 12th and immediately went to the hospital at North Ridge. I was told it’s pancreatitis,” he explained in the clip below.
After taking “tons of tests,” Sheridan recalled being in the hospital for nine days. After being released and believing that he was on the “road to recovery,” the actor landed back in the clinic for an inflamed pancreas. While asking fans to donate to his GoFundMe, Sheridan explained that his ailments would mean he’d be “out of work for quite some time.” But his followers wasted no time, surpassing his $35,000 GoFundMe goal. At this time of writing, the actor has raised $45,000.
Thankfully, we’ve seen Sheridan in the years since “That’s So Raven” concluded in 2007 after four seasons. The actor starred on spinoffs “Cory in the House” and “Raven’s Home,” and more. He recently caught up with his television daughter, Raven-Symoné on the April 3 episode of her podcast, “Tea Time With Raven & Miranda.”
