Former Danity Kane Member Aubrey O'Day Has Some Shady Thoughts on the Bad Boy Reunion Tour
Most people are excited for the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour beginning next month. It gives fans a chance to relive all the great songs the label put out over the past 20 years.
Not all are excited for it though, including Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day. The singer-turned-reality star recently joined Sway Calloway on Sway in the Morning, discussed the forthcoming run of shows, and didn’t seem excited to attend.
“I was so glad [Danity Kane] weren’t on that tour though after I saw the pictures,” she said when asked about the Bad Boy tour. “I didn’t see it. All I saw were the pictures but all I saw was a really bright-lit stage and a bunch of dollar bills on it. It looked like a strip club at 3 a.m. when the lights go up.”
Shade alert.
If you remember, Danity Kane was one of the groups that became pretty successful after making it onto Diddy’s show, Making the Band. When it comes to being a fan of Diddy’s artists, Aubrey O’Day is even kind of mixed about that.
“I love Total, too,” she said. “What they are now I don’t know, but Total back in the day was this sh*t.” To be fair, she did have praise for Lil’ Kim, who she called “the homie.”
The Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour begins on August 25 in Columbus, Ohio, and will run all the way until October 8 when it finishes off in Oakland. The tour technically began when it did two shows in Brooklyn's Barclays Arena in May.
