Draya Michele and Jalen Green’s relationship has sparked controversy since they hard-launched in August 2023, and it seems Draya might be tired of defending it. The couple recently appeared on Whistle’s “Relationship Quiz” series, where things took a turn after she cracked a joke about their age gap during a debate over who’s the better driver.

“I’ve had a driver’s license your whole life. I don’t care, I’m taking it,” she said. That line alone set off a fresh wave of criticism, including a viral reaction from TikTok user @boujeebrownskin, who called the joke out directly.

“You are aware that he is significantly younger than you, and you think it’s a joke,” he said. He then added that Draya has been leaning into the age gap in a way he finds “pretty f**king weird.”

Draya clapped back in the comments, calling the criticism “ageist,” and compared it to other forms of discrimination. “No different from being homophobic — you can’t be woke about one thing, babe, and not the other,” she wrote. “Discrimination is discrimination. Imagine if somebody told you you couldn’t love who you wanted because they felt like it was ‘wrong.’”

But the TikToker didn’t back down. “You making the conscious decision to talk to somebody significantly younger than you and calling it out is not ageism, babe,” he replied. “When you were 20, he was 3.”

The “Relationship Quiz” interview featured the couple answering lighthearted questions about how they met, who slid in the DMs first, and a guessing game using baby pictures of celebrities. But one comment about a license sparked a debate that had nothing to do with points or prizes.
