Did Rita Ora Come Out As Bisexual In Her New Song ‘Girls’?

The singer enlisted Cardi B for support.

Rita Ora recently made what appears to be a whopping revelation about her life in her new collaborative single, "Girls" featuring Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX.

The singer has since revealed that the track is inspired by her own experience as a bisexual woman.

The chorus for the recently-released track reads, "Sometimes I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls / Red wine, I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls...," before Ora goes on to sing, "I am excited, I'm open-minded / I'm 50/50, and I'm never gonna hide it / You should know."

In an interview with People magazine, she explained how the song first came to be.

"I wrote the song, like, two years ago in London with my team, and I actually didn't think that much of it," she said. "Then, it got into Cardi's hands, and she loved it, and she was actually the first person to put a verse on it."

Fans have already billed the song as the 2018 version of "I Kissed A Girl," the smash hit that introduced the world to pop star Katy Perry.

"[That song] was so fun," Ora said of the comparison. "I wanted to do something that was in that lane."
