Michael Madison was charged with three counts each of aggravated murder and kidnapping Monday in the deaths of three women who were found wrapped in trash bags in East Cleveland, Ohio.

He did not make a plea during a hearing Monday and his bail was set at $6 million.
One woman’s body was found Friday in a garage. Two other bodies were found Saturday — one in a backyard and the other in the basement of a vacant house, according to the Plain Dealer. All of the victims are Black and none have been identified as of Monday.

Authorities, which included the FBI, ended their search for more bodies on Sunday evening.

The 35-year-old, who is a registered sex offender, was arrested Friday night at his mother’s Cleveland home after a stand-off with police. Madison had previously served a four-year prison sentence after pleading guilty in an attempted rape conviction in 2002.
