Vince Staples Reacts To White TikToker’s Viral Video Fetishizing Black Men

Straight outta Jordan Peele’s “Get Out.”

California MC Vince Staples is one of Black Twitter’s most amplified voices, and he proved no less with his response to a now-viral video of a white TikToker fetishizing Black men.

  • Over the weekend, a cringe-inducing video made by the white TikTok user on the social platform made its rounds on the Internet. The video in question has since spurred an online debate on the historical fetishization of Black men. In the nearly minute-long clip, she listed off a bunch of grossly stereotypical and objectifying reasons as to why she’s attracted to Black men.

  • “For all you chocolate men out there, who said it was okay to be that fine?” she rhetorically posed.

“That athletic? That sexy? So sweet. Wonderful personalities. Strong. Tough,” she ran down her list, pausing to say that there’s a certain feature she “won’t talk about.”

Continuing on, she added “lips” to her list. “Your kisses and hugs just hit different!” she exclaimed. But that’s far from the worst part. She went on to state that she doesn’t like her Black men “too light” but not “too dark,” either. She likes “them just right.”

“Yes, my dad is okay with me dating Black guys,” she added before randomly throwing out “Oh yeah, I’m pregnant” while random images of Black men popped up in sequence in her  background.. “I don’t know what it is! Y’all just give me freaking butterflies or something. I can’t wait to find mine,” she rambled on. “People are always like, ‘You look so innocent...you’re so sweet [and] innocent.’ So? I love them.”

“Porzingis trippin’,” Vince clowned her on Twitter, referring to Dallas Mavericks forward Kristaps Porzingis.

  • The rest of Black Twitter isn’t  letting up either and brutally dragged the white TikToker over her video.

“She said ‘Not too dark, but just right’ like the 3 Little Bears,” one person, stunned, commented.

“There ain’t nothin wrong dating outside your color, but this ain’t it,” a second acknowledged.

“This s**t was uncomfortable dawg....,” a third chimed.
