‘People Don’t Know Us’ City Girls Open Up About Relationships With Diddy, Lil Uzi Vert

Yung Miami and JT spoke about their love lives for a new cover story.

Yung Miami and JT of the City Girls are opening up about their prospective relationships with Diddy and Lil Uzi Vert in a new POPSUGAR cover story released on Monday (September 19).

In the interview, the South Florida Hip Hop duo reflected on their expanding influence on pop culture, which includes their personal lives. When it comes to Diddy, Yung Miami said that the “Go Papi!” sign he held at the 2022 BET Awards was “one of the sweetest things anyone’s ever done for me,” she said, adding that their relationship is a “really supportive” one.

“People don’t know us,” Miami said. “They don’t know what the f**k we got goin’ on. I’m in there like, ‘Shut the f**k up. Y’all don’t know what we have going on. Me and him gon’ be married—boom!’ No, I’m just saying.”

JT, during the interview, revealed having gone through a dark period in her life after moving to New York City. Now living in the Calabasas area with Uzi, she said their relationship has made her a “much better person” since it began.

“I feel like I found my home with him, my safe space. Once you find your safe space, you know,” JT noted.

The City Girls are coming off an appearance on DJ Khaled’s God Did hit “Bills Paid.” They’re also among the executive producers behind HBO Max’s Rap Sh!t, created by Issa Rae. Shortly after the premiere of the program’s inaugural season this month, HBO Max announced the series had been renewed for a second season.
