'Put Me In X-Men': Vince Staples Makes His Pitch To Join The Marvel Cinematic Universe

The rapper fired off a series of hilarious tweets to make his case.

Vince Staples envisions himself as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He made his pitch in a series of tweets Monday (Dec. 27), apparently while watching Spider-Man: No Way Home.

He reacted in real-time to the film through several hilarious posts. “Off this Spider-Man they treating my ni**a Peter like he like Ruby Bridges,” his first comment said.

He followed that one with a slight spoiler: “Oh it’s up they just flipped Aunt May in the lobby!”

Then came his pitch. The rapper tweeted, “They need me in the MCU if they tryna have some real get bacc. Where is the vengeance? Put me in X- Men I’m marking everything out. Dead homies.”

According to Complex, Staples has a connection with the Marvel universe through his soundtrack work on Black Panther and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. But the Long Beach rapper’s acting resume is thin, except for some voice acting cameos. Nevertheless, he’d make a great superhero.
