Rihanna and A$AP Rocky turned a rainy Cannes night into a red-carpet moment to remember, stealing the spotlight at the “Highest 2 Lowest” world premiere Monday evening, (May 19).
The couple arrived arm-in-arm on the soggy red carpet, sharing an umbrella as they posed for photos. The Savage Fenty boss stunned in an electric-blue dress with bold cutouts and a scarf detail at the neck, showing off her growing baby bump. Meanwhile, Rocky kept it calm in a sleek black suit, black Ray-Bans, and grillz.
In one sweet moment, the “HIGHJACK” emcee was seen cradling Rih Rih’s belly with his chin resting gently on her shoulder.
The premiere marks Rocky’s latest acting milestone. The Harlem native stars in the Spike Lee-directed crime thriller opposite Denzel Washington, playing the role of Washington’s son, Yung Felon. The project, which hits U.S. theaters on August 22, also introduces Ice Spice in her feature film debut.
The night also marked Rih’s first Cannes red carpet appearance since 2017, when she attended the screening of “Okja” in a white strapless gown and matching robe.
The pair’s Cannes moment follows another buzzy red carpet appearance earlier this month at the Met Gala, where the singer’s bump reveal confirmed baby No. 3 is on the way.
