Bryce James Receives First College Basketball Scholarship Offer

LeBron James’ youngest son says he’s feeling “blessed.”

LeBron James’ youngest son Bryce is already thinking about balling in college, and he’s only 15!

On Sunday (August 21), Bryce shared on his Instagram Story that he received his first Division I scholarship to play basketball at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Alongside the school’s logo, he wrote, “Blessed to receive my first d1 offer from Duquesne #godukes.”

LeBron reposted Bryce’s jubilant message on his own IG Story, writing, “AYYYEEE!!! LET’S GO MAXIMUS @_JUSTBRYCE.”

Currently, Bryce is a sophomore at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California. His older brother, Bronny James, 17, is a top prospect for the class of 2023, entering his senior year at Sierra Canyon this fall.

A Duquesne offer may seem random, but the team’s head coach, Keith Dambrot, coached LeBron when he was a student at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. Dru Joyce II, an assistant coach for the team, played with the Lakers star in high school.
