In the March issue of Essence Magazine Halle Berry reveals that she tried with black men:\r
I tried Black men. I tried," she wails in a mock southern accent. "I married two Black men. You know I tried." She laughs again before making clear that "I don't hold all Black males responsible because of the two bad eggs I got. I even dated Black men after my last divorce, but this is just where I found love."\r
I don't think anyone is mad at Halle Berry for finding love with model Gabriel Aubry. Also, it doesn't seem like Halle consciously decided to stop dating black men. As she said - this is where she found love.\r
In case anyone forgot some of the men Halle tried with -- Christopher Williams, David Justice, Eric Benet, Michael Ealy and Wesley Snipes, who allegedly abused her and struck her so hard that she lost most of her hearing in one ear.\r
Halle is on her seventh Essence Magazine cover to promote her new movie Frankie and Alice, a story of a woman who has split personalities -- one being a white racist. The movie includes Chandra Wilson and television legend Phylicia Rashad.  In addition, Halle revealed she will be shaving her head to star in Nappily Ever After, a romantic comedy about black women and hair.
