NeNe Leakes Explains Her Choice To Get Liposuction And A Brazilian Butt Lift!
NeNe Leakes is dispelling plastic surgery rumors and opening up about her recent body transformation. On August 17, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared a video on Instagram that documented her experience getting liposuction and a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) at the Georgia Plastic Surgery & Reconstructive Surgery center.
“I did it! I got a ‘Professional BBL’ with Dr. Okoro,” she captioned the video highlighting everything from when she checked in to when she went under the knife. “Follow my surgery journey with Dr. Okoro at Georgia Plastic. I’m almost ready to show off my new snatched look…”
Fans of the reality star and entrepreneur quickly began to comment with questions about her experience.
In a follow-up video, NeNe spoke about her decision to go under the knife.
After addressing rumors that she's had any other cosmetic procedures done besides a nose job and breast augmentation, the 54-year-old beauty explained why she recently partnered with Dr. Okoro on his "Perfectly Pretty You" journey.
“I wanted to have liposuction,” she explained. “I went into his office to get educated about liposuction 360 because I felt like I had a bra roll—women know what I'm talking about—sometimes when you put your bra on or when you want to wear a backless shirt, you see a little extra bit of fat that you just don't think is attractive.”
Although Leakes personally is “not a fan” of BBLs, after talking to the doctor, she decided to remove the unwanted fat from her back, stomach, and sides and put it into her butt to fix her "problem areas."
“We called it a 'professional, mini BBL,'” she clarified in the video. "I love it."
Although Leakes has yet to post the final reveal, the star seems to be happy with the results. “Come on follow me on this journey of liposuction 360 and a professional, mini BBL," she teases. "Let's keep it classy, not trashy.”
