She’s a proud Jamaican
Although she’s originally from Florida, Pretty V is always repping her Jamaican roots, which can be seen on her Instagram page. She and her family later moved to North Carolina, where she spent most of her childhood.
She got her start in radio
After graduating from Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina, Vee began interning at Atlanta’s V-103 before landing a gig as an on-air personality at 107.9 The Link in Charlotte.
She’s a former reality star
In 2019, Vee made her reality television debut in Girls Cruise alongside Lil’ Kim, Mýa, Chilli, B. Simone, Tiffany, and Char DeFrancesco. The series, which only had one season, followed the ladies as they went on a journey of self-exploration and sisterhood while taking a glamorous cruise through the high seas of the Caribbean.
