Artists Are Still Reeling Over the Deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile

The music community continues to spread messages of grief, anger, hurt and solidarity.

The hip-hop community continues to be vocal about their outrage over the shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. Both men were shot to death execution-style after altercations with police officers with both brutal incidents unapologetically captured on video, all within the past 48 hours. The aftermath has sparked an outcry across the nation, with many taking to social media to contribute to the important, difficult and necessary dialogue surrounding these injustices.

While some artists feel as though expressing their anger and emotions online at this point is pointless, others are not letting their voices be silenced. One question remains universal: when will this stop?

Among the celebrities speaking out, Beyoncé posted a powerful call to action urging fans to call their local representatives about police brutality, while Chris Brown dedicated a new song to those going through struggles of injustice and artists such as YG and Chance the Rapper are questioning what can be done.

See below for a collection of thoughts, emotions, suggestions and overall reactions to a culturally vital dialogue that is far from being over.
