It’s official! 

Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson have made their red carpet debut as a couple. 

At her inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala, the rapper walked hand-in-hand with Thompson, showing off her new beau. 

In an interview with People, the Houston native gushed over her man on the red carpet, sharing that he’s the “nicest person she’s ever met.” 

“It was like a f*cking movie,” she entrepreneur exclaimed, recalling how the two met. 

“I won't tell you how and I won't tell you when, but it was a movie – he's the nicest person I've ever met in my life.” 

Whispers of a potential romance began circulating when the Grammy-winning rapper shared photos lounging poolside--her posed in the foreground and Klay in the background.

Days later, Thompson added more fuel to the fire by posting his own photos from the getaway. Although Megan’s back is turned in his snapshots, fans were quick to identify the rap star.

That’s not all the 30-year-old discussed on the carpet. She also told People how proud she thinks her parents are of her, honoring their legacy with this foundation. 

"I feel like they can see what I'm doing right now," she told the outlet.  

“I feel like they're looking down on me from heaven, and I feel like they're like, 'Yes, daughter!' I feel like my momma's so happy. I feel like she is clapping. I feel like my great-grandma is so happy. I feel like my daddy is like, 'this is exactly what I knew my child was gonna do.' I feel like they're super proud.” 

The Pete & Thomas Foundation, named after her parents, “provides resources to effect meaningful and positive change in the lives of women and children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston, TX and across the globe. The foundation’s programs are focused in the areas of education, housing, health & wellness, and community goodwill.”
