Ice Spice Talks Privacy And Going Public With Sauce Gardner On Instagram
Ice Spice’s attempt to keep her personal life low-key took a turn once she revealed her relationship status on Instagram.
During an interview with Keke Palmer for her “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast, the Bronx native opened up about sharing her status with football cornerback Sauce Gardner.
Palmer asked the “Munch” rapper how she decides what parts of her life she’s comfortable sharing, noting that the Bronx star tends to keep things private. Ice admitted that, regardless, people still find their way into her business.
“I try to keep it private, but it's just like whatever. I'll try to keep it private, and then it's like I'm at the grocery store, and then now it's not private," she told Palmer.
She then confirmed she launched her relationship with Gardner on social media.
“Yeah, I did confirm that on my Instagram,” she said, before expressing how she didn’t think it was a “big deal.”
“I didn't think it would be such a big deal, but it really is a big deal,” the 25-year-old said.
“It is entertaining ‘cause when I was growing up, looking at people I looked up to, I would be all in they business, too. So, I get it. Like, I really do understand.”
The two furthered in conversation, with Palmer bringing up Ice’s bisexuality. When suggesting the “Highest 2 Lowest” star didn’t have to share her sexual orientation, Ice countered and questioned, “I didn’t?”
This prompted the “Nope” star to inquire if the “Y2K” artist is her type.
“I think you are,” Ice said, before saying, “Keke’s my type, guys.”
