Mia Thornton Continues to Spark Engagement Speculation After Going Instagram Official With New Man Incognito
As 2024 made its grand arrival, Mia Thornton hit the ‘gram with an announcement that has people wondering if wedding bells are in her future.
According to PEOPLE, "The Real Housewives of Potomac" star went Instagram official with her new beau, radio personality Incognito. Her post featured a photo of them in a passionate embrace, while a black SUV served as the perfect backdrop. While Incognito’s head was turned away from the camera, there’s no doubt these two are an item.
Still, it's the caption of her post and the same shiny rock she's been wearing since BravoCon in November that have provoked curiosity about her future.
"4.4.4. #2024 🤍 Let’s Go!" she wrote in the post while keeping her man's name on the low.
While the ring on her finger appears to be an engagement ring, Mia assures fans that it's only a commitment ring. During Bravo’s convention in November, she also hinted at her budding interest in Incognito, who some say is a former flame, according to US Weekly. "There is someone special that’s on the horizon," she said, while adding, “I am committed."
To mark his birthday on Tuesday, the "Posted On The Corner" radio host shared the same sexy snap of them on his account, but with a different caption.
Starting with a crown emoji, he said, "today is special @mrsmiathornton, it's been two decades since we celebrated my birthday together‼️🎉"
"if only the world could see how we brought it in lol, cheers to our happily ever after 🍾 #MIAmor."
Mia took the opportunity to co-sign her man's words in the comment section of his post, which has since been turned off.
"My Love. My Heart. I'm so grateful for you. Continue to bless the world by being Y.O.U.," Mia commented. "Happy Birthday, My INC," followed by a red heart emoji.
While it is unclear if they really toasted to a bid for eternity on his birthday, we do know that Thronton has clearly moved on from the past. In September, she and her ex-husband, Gordon Thornton, decided to cut ties after 11 years of marriage. The two share two children: a son, Jeremiah Carter, 8, and a daughter, Juliana, 6. Additionally, they each have one child from their previous relationships.
During episode five in season eight of the reality show, Thronton said Gordon's demanding career and their family's finances played a huge role in the dissolution of their marriage, as reported by Bravo.
“We have recently gone through a financial change with our business, and having to downsize, and having to navigate a lot," Mia told a family therapist during the episode.
"The relationship between Gordon and I has definitely changed," she continued. "Ever since Gordon was voted out of the family business, he's been working a lot more because we were expanding our portfolio with other partnership groups, so it is causing a lot of tension inside of our marriage. And, to me, spending time with the kids and having balance is so much better than us always working and then we look up and our kids are grown."
