Wait, Did Waka Flocka Just Reveal He's Retiring From Hip-Hop?

He's way past his "Hard in Da Paint" days.

It seems that going into this new year Waka Flocka is ready for more than ending his ongoing rap beefs and becoming a changed man.

Everyone's favorite rapper-turned-reality star recently sat with our very own Raquel Harper of Raq Rants to discuss his hip-hop legacy and when would he be ready to throw in the towel. The ATL native curtly stated, "I been gave it up... They bookin' me. I don't wanna rap." He also alluded that he's being "forced to make new music." Harper fired back and asked him the obvious question of "why?"

  • "I did what I came to do...," Waka replied without hesitation

He shifted his thoughts to those around him. "Everyone I started with is rich. Everybody's happy. Everybody got kids. I don't got nothing else to do," the former Brick Squad member continued. "Life changed for me. People want me to be 'Hard in Da Paint' Waka, but I'm 32 years old. I'm a grown ass man."

However, he divulged the real reason he's stepping away from the limelight. Waka is ready to focus solely on being a husband and making a baby with his wife, Tammy Rivera. Despite Tammy have a teenage daughter from a previous relationship, Waka has been very candid about wanting a child of his own.
