The wait is officially over. Summer Walker just announced her highly anticipated new album, “Finally Over It,” set to drop on Nov. 14. 

For the past week, she’s been having a little fun with fans on Twitter, pretending to “compensate” those affected by the long wait for new music. She even joked, “If you or a loved one have been affected by waiting on #FinallyOverIt to drop, compensation may be in store for you! For relief, I’ve dropped a hotline number for anyone impacted by the wait. Call (404) 476-6404 now!”

That all led up to her official announcement yesterday, a six-minute YouTube video she teased on social media. In the video, Summer sits down for a lie detector test and answers questions about the new project. She confirms that London On Da Track won’t be producing this time around, but Latto will make an appearance, and the album features more than a dozen songs. She also teased possible collaborations with other “rap girlies” and even hinted at a track with Chris Brown.

And of course, she couldn’t resist joking with fans. She promised that we’ll “definitely be sliding down the wall” with this one and cleared the air about Lil Meech’s cousin’s groceries.

Six years after “Over It” and four years after “Still Over It” — both No. 1 Top R&B and Hip Hop albums, with “Still Over It” also topping the Billboard 200, the anticipation couldn’t be higher. In the promo video, Summer admitted she felt she deserved a Grammy for her debut but hinted she’s aiming for that win with this final chapter of the “Over It” series.
