Beyoncé And Ronald Isley Team Up For New Song

'Make Me Say It Again, Girl' is a re-work of 1975’s 'Make Me Say It Again Girl, Pts. 1 & 2'.

Okay, Beyhive! On the heels of Beyoncé’s latest album RENAISSANCE, the Grammy award-winning entertainer has joined Ronald Isley and The Isley Brothers for a re-work of their 1975 hit “Make Me Say It Again Girl, (Part 1 & Part 2).”

This is the first collaboration between the “Break My Soul” singer and the music icon. “Make Me Say It Again, Girl” marks Ronald Isley’s first release of 2022.

In an interview with Billboard, Isley shared that he had met and talked to Beyoncé when her singing career with Destiny’s Child just began.

Isley’s wife, Kandy, added, “Tina Knowles Lawson was very influential in getting this record started and getting it to the point where we are now. She has a love for the Isley Brothers and her daughter grew up listening to this type of music. All we can say is that God’s hands was on this whole project.”

This isn’t the first time Bey has graced the inner workings of “Make Me Say It Again Girl, (Part 1 & 2),” on Destiny’s Child’s debut studio album, the opening track, “Second Nature,” is a sample of Ronald Isley and The Isley Brothers song.

“Make Me Say It Again, Girl” originally appeared on The Isley Brothers’ 1975 The Heat Is On album.
