Cardi B's Latest Reebok Collab Is Inspired By New York City

Here's what we know about the new collection.

Cardi B is back with a new Reebok collection!

The latest capsule collection “Let Me Be…In My World Nighttime,” is inspired by Cardi’s hometown of New York and the city’s nighttime lights and skyline. The size-inclusive collection includes sizing up to a 4x and features new silhouettes including oversized sleeves and cinched waists.

“What inspired the design of this collection was snatch knits,” says Cardi. “The pants tighten up—you don’t even have to go to a seamstress. They’re already tight enough. Sometimes [ladies] just want clothes that fit us nice, that shape us up, that gives us a nice little shape. I hope that these [clothes] make them happy and feel comfortable,” said the Bronx rapper in a sound bite on the Reebok website.

The apparel is accompanied by bold metallic sneakers dubbed the “Classic Leather Cardi”, a spin on the brand's famed Classic Leather silhouette. The limited edition shoes come in an array of colors reflective of the New York City lights including silver, black, rose gold, blue and mint. The sneakers are the perfect match back to the monochromatic apparel looks and are also available in kid's sizes.

“Some sneaker collections, I’m like, ‘Hmm, what can people wear this with?’ I’m so happy that now my shoe collections come with clothing so that they can match it up and look like a whole entire outfit instead of wearing my sneakers with another brand,” she said of the collection.

Also released alongside the shining metallic sneaks is a black and fiery orange colorway available to Reebok’s Unlocked members, a loyalty program for exclusive access and perks.

The collection is available now on Reebok.
