Chris Brown Defends $1,000 Meet and Greet Price Tag

The singer took to his Instagram to address the online debate.

That’s his price, and he’s sticking to it.

Chris Brown appears to be exhausted with people complaining that he charges $1,000 for a meet and greet with fans, as many have voiced concerns about the extravagant price. On Monday (August 1), the “Go Crazy” singer took his Instagram Stories, where he addressed the commotion while using the opportunity to take jabs at “most of these lame a– artist.”

“PSA!!! WHEN ARTIST (EVERYONE) DO CONCERTS, they all have something called a VIP PACKAGE. I HAVEN’T DONE MEET AND GREETS IN OVER 7 YEARS…” the 33-year-old wrote in a memo. “I HAVE THE COOLEST FANS ON THE PLANET .. I APPRECIATE THE F-CK OUTTA THEM. THESE ARE MEMORIES THAT WILL LAST WITH THEM FOREVER,” he continued before calling out his industry peers

“UNLIKE MOST OF THESE LAME A– ARTIST THAT WON’T MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH THE PEOPLE WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE TO EVEN HAVE A CAREER. I ONLY EXIST BECAUSE THESE FANS SAW SOMETHING IN ME I NEVER THOUGHT WAS POSSIBLE..” he continued before adding, “SO IMA GO ALL OUT FOR MY FANS !!!!”

Despite the criticisms, the “Sweet Love” singer did find some co-sign from fellow crooner Blue who wrote on Twitter, “$1000 for a life long memory/moment ain’t bad. Y’all ain’t gone have no memories when y’all get old only thing y’all gone remember is paying bills.”

Brown is touring North America alongside Lil Baby on their One of Them Ones Tour, which is set to hit several major cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, and more.
