The singer released her first single off the project, entitled “Type Dangerous.”
The record was co-produced and co-written by her beau, Anderson. Paak, and released back in June with the record sampling Eric B. & Rakim’s “Eric B. Is President.”
It’s rumored he will also be executive producing on the album.
The mother of two has hinted at the second single, releasing a video of her stirring up some sweet treats, singing the lyrics “I’ma keep it nice, Imma keep it sweet, Imma keep it sugar, Imma keep it sweet.”
In an interview with Variety back in 2024, the songwriter hinted at wanting to release her sixteenth album and was working on it at the time.
I’ve written some new songs. You know, I’m excited about it,” she told the outlet.
“I have to figure out which songs I’m going to do and which songs I’m not going to do. But I think I’m very excited about it.”
