Despite the female rappers that have come and gone over the last few years, Trina is proving that she has staying power. For more than a decade, the Miami femcee has been holding it down by consistently putting in work. And now, while other female MCs bicker at Nicki Minaj, Trina is lining up major collaborations for her forthcoming mixtape, Diamonds Are Forever.

For the first song from the mixtape "Ghetto," Trina linked up with fellow Florida representative, T-Pain. The song was leaked and has already been gaining steam online.

This morning, March 24, Trina got an early start on promotion for the upcoming project. "Rise & Grind... Today starts early getting glam for video shoot!! I'm so excited. DIAMONDS Are FOREVER," she tweeted.

Trina's mixtape is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, March 28.
