Joy Taylor Out at Fox Sports 1 As The Network Cancels Three Shows

FS1 has canceled three of its daily shows: "Speak," whichTaylor co-hosted, "Breakfast Ball," and "The Facility."

Joy Taylor will not be returning to Fox Sports 1 as the host of "Speak".

According to Andrew Marchand of The Athletic, the decision is part of a series of moves including the cancellation of three FS1 morning programs: Speak, which Taylor co-hosted, Breakfast Ball, and The Facility.

The massive shift in programming came about as the shows “struggled to find a huge audience, prompting the cancellations.”

The network’s other programs, Colin Cowherd’s “The Herd,” which begins at noon (ET), and “First Things First” with Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes at 3 p.m. (ET), are slated to remain in their time slots.

Over the past year, Taylor has been the subject of harassment allegations along with Charlie Dixon, a former top programming executive at FS1. Noushin Faraji, a former make-up artist at the network, accused Dixon of sexual battery, and also alleged that Taylor told her “to get over it.” Additionally,  Faraji accused Taylor of having sexual relationships with Dixon as well as former co-host Emmanuel Acho to advance her career, and she allegedly mocked Faraji’s Persian ethnicity.

Taylor denied all accusations, and Dixion has been away from the network since April.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club, Taylor broke her silence over the lawsuit and its lingering impact. Although she did not address the specific accusations, she explained that the “grief process” of the ordeal was a dark time in her life.

“No. I’ve never felt compelled to litigate that. Genuinely,” Taylor said.

“I have felt a lot of different emotions. I think it’s a grief process when anything like that happens. I’ll say, I’ve been through a lot of traumatic things in my life. A lot. And I think any time you go through a trauma or a grieving period of something, you can’t decide who you are when it’s happening,” she explained. “And that’s been the biggest thing for me.”
