Gayle King And Niece Have Fun Swimsuit Photo Shoot For Thanksgiving

Their swimsuit-themed tradition started as a joke six years ago.

Gayle King kept it fun and sexy in a swimsuit on Thanksgiving.

Some holiday traditions include making snow angels, and others enjoy singing Christmas carols with loved ones. But for the television host, her Thanksgiving tradition includes striking a pose in a flirty number on the beach. For the sixth year in a row, the "CBS Mornings" anchor and her niece Mekenzye Schwab kept their festive tradition alive, as reported by PEOPLE.

"Back by popular demand: Our annual Thanksgiving swimsuit photo shoot with fav niece @mknzschwb," King said in a post on Instagram that documented the twosome oceanside.

What began as a gag has endured the test of time for the aunt and niece duo.

"It all started as a joke in 2017 where I was making fun of Mekenzye and now it’s turned into a thing," King explained, while adding "but full disclosure everybody looks good taking a picture at @rwmayakoba in Cancun! Highly recommend."

These melanin beauties took the beach by storm in Mexico in a variety of styles perfect for a holiday getaway.

In one frame, they are captured twinning in yellow one-piece suits while strolling like models down a catwalk. The next slide of the carousel highlights the pair wearing black and white styles in side-by-side snaps as they each take turns posing on a winding staircase.

OK, ladies, we see you!

There is also a photo of King serving like a baddie while sitting in a pool of water with her hand behind her head.

Get it, Gayle!

The last image of their shoot shows the ladies each having a steamy moment as water streams down their faces with their eyes closed.
