Find Out What Lamar Odom Wants for Showing Hospital Footage on KUWTK

You'll be surprised.

Lamar Odom is back on Keeping Up With the Kardashians this season, and even allowed some personal photos and videos of him at rock bottom in a Nevada hospital days after he nearly overdosed to be included in the season premiere.
But if you think Odom released the private images for a big check, think again.

According to a source close to the recovering former NBA player, he has no interest in cashing in on the tragedy, and his reason for allowing the shocking photos and video to be a part of the series is purely altruistic.
“It ain’t about the money. He’s not going to hound Khloé [Kardashian] or her mother to pay him for making his near dear experience public,” a source close to Odom revealed to HollywoodLife.com. “Lamar wants to share this. He could have yanked the cord months ago but he chose not to. He thinks he’s helping other people by sharing his story,” the source added. “He also believes he’s showing Khloé that he’s a man who can face his demons head on. Part of all this is to impress Khloé and hopefully put their marriage back on solid foundation.”
The Kardashians, on the otherhand, will profit from the near-tragedy in terms of ratings for their long-running reality show. While Khloé is credited with bringing her estranged husband, essentially, back to life, some also feel she and her family are now exploiting him for storylines and headlines.
Either way, it's great to see Lamar coming back to his old self. Though many are still praying he leaves some of his former habits behind.
