In an upcoming holiday film produced by Brandy, Christmas Everyday, the multi-hyphenate portrays Francine “Fancy” Ballantine, a mom juggling family and her career ambitions as a fashion designer.

According to Deadline, not only is Brandy producing and starring in the film, she is acting alongside her daughter Sy-rai Norwood.

The holiday tradition has always been a strong one in Brandy's family. Just last year the mother-daughter pair dropped an adorable video, "Christmas With Brandy & Sy’Rai" where they exchanged questions and gave us a glimpse at their loving relationship.

The film Christmas Everyday will also feature Brandy’s 2023 holiday song of the same name.

Brandy shared this about acting with her daughter, “The holidays are always about family as part of the festivities, so I’m beyond thrilled to be partnering with Lifetime on this magical holiday project and having my own daughter star with me – even though we are playing sisters!”
