Family Seeks Answers as Video Shows Georgia Twins Hours Before Mysterious Deaths
Newly released surveillance footage has added complexity to the investigation into the deaths of 19-year-old twin brothers, Qaadir and Naazir Lewis, who were found shot on Bell Mountain, Georgia, on March 8, 2025.
The video, captured around 10:30 p.m. on March 7, shows the twins at a Shell gas station near their home in Lawrenceville, Georgia, approximately 90 miles from where their bodies were discovered. In the footage, they appear calm as they purchase snacks and drinks. This timeline challenges earlier assumptions about their movements that night.
Earlier that day, the twins had planned to travel to Boston but missed their flight due to a delayed Uber ride. Their family is now questioning how they ended up at Bell Mountain, especially considering the park's gates close at 9 p.m.
Authorities initially suggested a possible murder-suicide, but the official cause and manner of death remain undetermined pending further forensic tests. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has not commented on the latest developments.
Family members strongly dispute the murder-suicide theory, emphasizing the twins’ positive aspirations, including plans to start a clothing line. They have launched a GoFundMe for funeral expenses and created the hashtag #JusticeForQaadirAndNaazir, demanding a deeper investigation into the circumstances of the brothers' deaths.
