WNBA Superstar Maya Moore And Husband Jonathan Irons Are Living Their Best Lives With Their Baby Boy

They are living a dream they thought would never happen. ❤️

Former WNBA player turned activist Maya Moore and her husband Jonathan Irons have introduced their gorgeous son to the public.

On Tuesday, the happy couple revealed to Good Morning America that they had welcomed Jonathan Hughston Irons, Jr. to the world in February. The five-month-old infant is a first for Moore and Irons.

Moore shared the video with a collage of photos of their growing son on her Instagram.

“Marrying Jonathan was one of the happiest days of my life! Delivering JJ was one of the proudest days of my life! Witnessing Jonathan be a Father…Priceless😭”

According to her bio, the 33-year-old “four-time WNBA Champion, six-time WNBA All Star, Olympic Gold Medalist and winner of more games than any player in college basketball history” gave up her championship career to help her now-husband become a free man.

The New York Times reported that the talented baller championed Irons’ 50-year sentence for burglary and assault to be overturned in March 2020. A Missouri judge vacated his sentence after determining that evidence to prove his innocence had never been presented. Irons had served almost half of his sentence before he became a free man.

Moore had semi-retired from her basketball career to help him fight for freedom in 2019.

The two married in September 2020, BET.com reported.
