Report: Young Dolph Shot And Killed In Memphis

Law enforcement sources have confirmed the horrific news.

Young Dolph has reportedly been shot and killed in his hometown of Memphis. He was 36.

WREG reports that Memphis Police said one male victim was located and pronounced dead at the scene and confirmed Dolph, born Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr., was the victim.

Officers and witnesses gathered in front of a broken window at Makeda’s Butter Cookies, a bakery in a local Memphis strip mall. A man who identified himself as the business’ owner said a young man had been shot while buying cookies. TMZ reports that the rapper’s vehicle was found outside Makeda’s.

Bystanders also posted a video on Twitter of the aftermath, saying “Ain't no way these folks just killed Dolph." Another eyewitness stated: "I told y’all that's that only **** in the city with that car.”
