Hurts to Watch: Weightlifter Suffers Gruesome Injury During Rio Olympics

Not for the faint of heart.

Between French gymnast Samir Ait Said's gruesome broken leg and Dutch cyclist Annemiek van Vleuten's horrific airborne accident, these Olympic Games haven't been for the faint of heart.

But the latest freak injury might be the most squeamish of them all.

When Armenian weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan attempted to lift nearly 430 pounds in a clean-and-jerk move Wednesday, he shockingly dislocated his left elbow as he screamed in pain.

Warning: This video is pretty graphic.

Ooh, that hurt to watch. It almost looks like his arm was broken in half. But from the still shots, you can clearly make out that the 20-year-old weightlifter had suffered a horrific dislocation.

Just awful. We wish the young man a full recovery.
